CASE STUDY:
Providing External Threat Intelligence Reporting

BRIEF:

A mid-size community college wanted to improve its cybersecurity posture in relation to hypothetical external bad actors.

ROLE OF MAX2:

Max² provided vulnerability scanning of the college's external IP space, analyzed the results, prioritized detected vulnerabilities for mitigation/remediation, and provided action plans for improving cybersecurity posture.

Providing External Threat Intelligence Reporting

WHAT WAS DELIVERED?

Provided monthly reporting of current vulnerabilities, as well as historical trending of vulnerabilities. Developed action plans with the college IT staff to address findings.

OUTCOME:

The detected vulnerabilities steadily decreased in both number and severity over a one-year time frame, resulting in a substantially smaller threat profile detectable by external bad actors.
